The Jefferson County Special Bailiff Association, Inc., or JCSBA, is a nonprofit organization founded in 2016 to unite and provide a network to Special Bailiffs and Process Personnel in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
454.145 Court may appoint person to serve particular process.
The court, for good cause, may appoint a person to serve a particular process or order, and he shall have the same power to execute it which a sheriff has. His return must be verified by his affidavit. He shall be entitled to the fees allowed to sheriffs for similar services.

Director/Owner of Kentucky Special Investigative Unit, Steve started as a Private Investigator in 1991; he now owns the company and runs a team of Private Investigators and Process Servers. Specializes in insurance fraud, criminal defense, infidelity, child custody and witness location. Steve is also the co-founder of the Kentucky Society of Professional Investigators, Inc.
Kevin Duckworth is a Bonded Jefferson County Court Appointed Special Bailiff. He owns Duckworth Process, LLC which has been in business for 4+ years earning an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Kevin served in the United States Marine Corp and has also worked for the State of Kentucky as a Correctional Officer at Kentucky State Reformatory. Kevin is a graduate of Valley High School and has also worked as a Private Investigator since 2013 with KYSIU.
